BuchLab

Based at the center of Rome, at the Gemeindezentrum of the German Institute of Santa Maria dell'Anima, the BuchLab (BL) is a permanent working group of a popularizing nature, composed of students from various Universities and academic disciplines aimed at analyzing and deepening, discussing and debating texts, paragraphs, speeches, homilies by Joseph Ratzinger - Benedict XVI.

The BL intends to demonstrate the "broad horizons" of theological thought: theology, philosophy but also history, literature, science, politics, music, art, canon and civil law, economics, starting precisely from words and texts and reflecting on them also through one's own spiritual experience.

Each meeting is led by a professor, an expert, a scholar, often coming from the Institutes, Foundations, Chairs and Bodies that deal with preserving and transmitting the thought of Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI, in his long search for Truth as priest, professor, archbishop, cardinal, prefect, pontiff and pope emeritus and who, most of the time, besides sharing his spirituality, bear witness to his academic and/or personal life.

The request for enrollment in the BuchLab (BL) in person must be communicated to the e-mail address buchlab@ratzinger-class.com – specifying your area of study and accompanied by a motivational cover letter.
